Every bespoke piece starts the same way — not polished, not pretty, and definitely not “Instagram ready”.

Right now in the workshop at Be You Bespoke Furniture Ltd, a new high bar table with matching stools is taking shape. At this stage, it looks like rough timber, glue lines and framework. But this is where the real quality is built in.

The Structure Comes First

Before stain, before sanding, before finish — strength comes first.

This build focuses heavily on:

• Solid internal framing

• Reinforced cross supports

• Balanced weight distribution

• Proper joint integrity

A high bar table needs to be rock solid. Whether it’s for a busy pub, restaurant, or home entertaining space, it has to handle constant use without movement or flex.

If the frame isn’t right, nothing else matters.

The Design Details

This particular piece features:

But this is actually the most important part of the build. Once the finish goes on, you can’t see what’s underneath — but you’ll feel it every time you lean on it, sit at it, or use it daily.
